Censor Board asked for cuts
The Censor Board has now passed the Bhojpuri film with the title ‘Rang De Basanti’ to the makers. However, the makers want to take this fight forward. The makers claim that the Censor Board gave instructions to make cuts without any reason and now due to this they have approached the court. There is a hearing in this case today i.e. on March 18.
The matter reached the court
According to the report of Times of India, producer Roshan Singh said, ‘The fight over the title of the film is over and the censor board has given permission to release it with the title Rang De Basanti, but now they are trying to make cuts without any reason. Are saying. Doing this at the last moment will affect the essence of the film, so we have challenged these cuts in the court.
Objection expressed on these words
He further says, ‘He has asked to reduce the hero’s action scenes from the film by 50 percent. Apart from this, he asked to remove some words like Jai Shri Ram, Allah Hu Akbar, Pawan Sut Hanuman and saffron flag. The producer said, ‘Jai Shri Ram is commonly used and killing the villain with the Trishul has also happened before but he has an objection to it.’
